I took this one Friday night at Danielle's dance recital. Our young people who are high school age, have a lot to deal with in this world. The arts are a good outlet for expression. This is evident in the music and choreography they choose. Danielle, and her best friend, Alissa, put this duet together to the song, "Hazy". I had never heard it before. It was very emotional and they were close to tears at the end here....
" What if I fall and hurt myself,
Would you know how to fix me?
What if I went and lost myself?
Would you know where to find me?
If I forget who I am,
Will you please remind me?
Cause, without you, things go hazy."
Lately, I have wanted to catch more of the real feelings in my photos. It was easy to do at the dance recital. I used my 85 mm for all of the close ups on the second night, so I had to turn the camera to get both girls in here, but I think the slope makes it even more dramatic.
I've never heard that song. I'll have to look it up. You definitely caught the emotion in this.
