Before I snapped this image, Rory had already taken her puppy's temperature, given him a shot, and some oral medicine. Then she wrapped him up in a hand towel and got him a bottle. Here, she is humming to him and telling him it will be OK and he will feel better soon.The moment was so precious, and I decided to go for it with her messy hair and all. I edited this one with softening and airbrushing......something I never do. I'm always after that elusive sharp image, but this time I wanted the soft edit to go with her gentle nurturing that little girls seem to be born with.
