Song Bird Ornaments

Girls night out for myself, one daughter, and three DIL's. We started a candy making tradition last year, but we added a craft this time. This idea came from a blog post that my daughter came across, from 2009

I must say we improved the project considerably. They are two sided. These we cut out of thin wood, on the scroll saw, and we embellished them with glitter, jewels and feathers. Hangers were made from sparkly ribbon, and colored wire. It was tons of FUN!!! I was missing my daughter who lives out of state. I must have a little herding dog in me......I like my family to all be together.

One DIL had to leave before we all finished, because she had a long drive home.......these are hers.

  1. Oh my goodness, these are PRECIOUS! I love them so much! I played piano from age 4 to my mid 20's, so anything musical is special to me. They are just ADORABLE! I can't wait until TT is a bit older to do these kinds of crafts with me. Thanks for sharing! :-)
