Lily of The Valley

I actually picked my camera up tonight. It must have gained 50 lbs in the last couple of weeks! It was hard to even take these two pictures....but it is a start. We have this darn weed growing in the grass in the backyard. Generally it is white or pale pink but this year it is lavender. The evening sun made the grass look kind of yellow.

Here, I caught the water droplets from the sprinklers in the background. I think it is kind of interesting.

  1. ohhhh....the DOF is gorgeous on these. Did you photograph them this way or do something post processing?

  3. Kim...these are pretty much SOOC. I did not even correct the color. I just sharpened and straightened a little. The 85mm lens offers this kind of DOF. I had it at 1.8 and when I looked at them, I thought it might have even been a bit too tight for the area in focus.
