Day 4 Leapster Love

How did I ever raise six children without modern technology???? We didn't even get our old B/W TV before our first son was almost three years old. Now I see that we could have avoided having pets too, if we had had Leapster's back then. Today, I watched 3 year old Rory and her little sister for a couple of hours, and Rory was totally absorbed in the feeding, training, bathing, and dressing of her little pet dog on her Leapster. She learned all kinds of things in her efforts to provide for her new pet, and as you can see here, it ended up in a Tutu, and high heels! I love Rory's concentration in the large photo. Can you see her little tongue sticking out?

  5. I could have taken the same pictures! Mine was handed down her sister's leap pad and just loves it. For some reason we can keep up with this but not the hand-me-down DS!
