The Balloon Festival got off to a great start today. The weather appeared to be perfect, and the crowd was excited as the balloons were inflated.
The colors were amazing. The pictures do not do the color justice. The sun rising over the mountains, lights them up like they have lights inside. 
The wind up above, was too strong and the decision was made to cancel the launch again. they all started to come down at once. I even felt deflated! 
What a disappointment! I would LOVE to go on a hot air balloon ride! One of my bucket list items!

ReplyDeleteI was hoping to attend this event as well so I could capture some sweet shots, but noticed the wind and figured this might happen. Bummer deal. I wonder if I would have recognized you there. I would have loved to meet you! I am hoping we bump into each other one of these days. Looks like you still got some great shots of the balloons filled up.
