I chose this clock today because I have been lying in bed sick all day AGAIN, and thinking how I could have used this time for so many other things. I also wanted an EASY subject. So much for easy! no matter what time of day I looked at it...there were dark shadows, lines from the blinds, reflections and hot spots. So here we are with evening light filtering through the blinds, and casting a shadow on the wall. I like the shadow. The fast shutterspeed prevented the blur in the pendelum. My husband bought this for me a few months ago at a garage sale for $3.00. It didn't work. He, however, can fix anything, and now it plays a pleasant little tune every hour, and some little chimes on the half hour.
I also really like the shadow on the wall. It looks like a magazine picture! ;) Feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteKarren, I like the shadow. It really adds to the drama of time. How sweet that your husband bought it and then fixed it. I bet you think of him every time it plays its tune.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the picture before I read your post and my first thought was the shadow really adds a lot of drama to the picture, so I have to say, I like it too. My husband is a great Dad, but he can't fix a darn thing, so you're lucky to have a man that can do things like that.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a fan of the shadow. It makes it a little dramatic and moody. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Karren! I also like the shadow a lot! Just adds some drama and interest. Also like the fantasy of having a husband who can fix things ... Of course mine probably has a fantasy wife too- a great cook who doesn't spend all her time taking photos, LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is very lovely! Hope you feel well soon.
ReplyDeleteEven sick in bed you take beautiful pictures! I love the shadows on the wall as well!
