I'm sad. The first snow is never exciting to me for several reasons. Ice on the car....no more sandals, and THIS......I love my flowers and miss them terribly during the winter. Last night they got hammered with the wind and rain and snow, and cold. Some were half uprooted and their blossoms all ragged. I will see if they revive at all...if not, then they have to come out before the soil freezes.

It never ceases to amaze me the climate difference between some of us bloggers!!! The snow would make me sad too. If it snows here (big if some years) it is in late January or February here in the south!
