I liked the cropped version better, it eliminates the distracting flower in the background. Also- you asked me on my blog how I made that sign. Basically I took a canvas, wrapped it with fabric, and then I used my Cricut to cut out the letters from contact paper, and stuck them on the fabric. After they were stuck, I painted the fabric with fabric paint and when it was dry I removed the letters to reveal the fabric below. I know you're crafty-- if there is anything I wasn't clear on, let me know!
I'd love to see your daughter's version of the sign! I actually wanted to do it on wood, but I'm out visiting my fiance and don't have my whole craft room at my disposal, so I cut the letters out before I left to come out here, and I just had to make do with what I could get at a quick trip to the craft store.
