Oma's Posterity

At the cemetary yesterday, We took a photo of the entire family. My in-laws have 60 something decendants now. Not in this photo were one or two babies asleep in the car, one grandson was out of the country, another could not attend, and one of their sons, and a granddaughter preceeded him in death. This group is just their four children and their children, and grandchildren. Scroll down for the section that is just my family.

My husband, children and grandchildren make up a big hunk of the total. If we live to the age of his parents, we may just see a large group like this one. His dad was just 2 1/2 months away from 100, when he passed away on Christmas Eve. My mother in Law is almost 94.

  1. Wow...they have seen a lot in their lifetimes. Sad that these types of pictures usually only come about at funerals....but how blessed to have this picture with so many family showing their support for your MIL.

  7. So sorry for your loss, Karren, but what an incredible life. My grandfather is 94 and I'm always amazed at how he continues to thrive--slower, with a lot of help, but just as keen as ever. God bless you in the new year.
