Fall Is Here

I went out this morning right after the rain to get some shots with my macro filter. Let's just say that I have great respect, and stand in awe of those of you who do macro! I was too embarrassed to post those, so here are the other ones I did instead. I played around with the edit and texture. I'm not fond of snails, but I do love these red leaves.

  5. Beautiful leaves! And I love the photo of the snail!

When I'm trying to shoot something in macro, I often end up with many, many photos getting deleted. It is frustrating and time consuming, but often so worth it. :) Keep trying!

  7. Oooo, wow, love the snail. We don't have snails around here-- only slugs.

  8. The texture you added to the first shot is great. I really like the way it turned out. The second shot is great too. The detail on the snail really pops against that red leaf backdrop.

  10. The detail on that slug is amazing! I've never actually seen one in real life- and I don't know if I'd get that close with a camera if I did! You are braver than I!
