Oktoberfest

Our son, Brian, performed up in the beautiful Snowbird Resort for Oktoberfest, yesterday and today. We couldn't get up there yesterday, so today after Church we rode up and enjoyed two different hour long performances. Beautiful, authentic German music, yodeling and dancing. Brian played with a four piece band this year. We loved watching him. The celebration goes for 7 weeks on weekends. Next trime he plays, I will be in St George, so today was my only opportunity to see him. Why do they start Oktoberfest in August? They explained it today....it is not snowing!

A crowd pleaser...they threw in the Chicken Dance! The little kids and
all ages loved it. Of course brian had to spice it up with a chicken hat.

He looks good in his Lederhosen!

  1. So glad you asked about why they started the festival in August. I thought I'd missed a few months ;0) Glad you got to see him play. I grew up listening to German music.
