This grasshopper was leaping happily around on my front lawn. Just as I was about to capture a great jump, my dog, Gracie caught him. He was a bit handicapped after she played with him. I actually felt sorry for the poor thing. He was exactly the color of the grass. So, I did a little HDR on him and blurred the surrounding grass so he shows up.

My son always manages to spot these even though they are so camoflauged! Nice editing to make him stand out!

ReplyDeleteGreat shot...nice PP to give him a little boost of difference from the grass.
ReplyDeleteI used to love grasshoppers until they started eating my vegetable garden to pieces!!! Now they are the enemy. But they're still cute.
