Day 119 Bubbles

I adore this first image.....Delight is written all over Rory's face. She and Gracie joined the family within days of each other, and love each other so much. It's hard to see right here, but they are both wet with soap bubbles.

Yesterday, was Gracie's first experience with bubbles to chase. She jumped on Rory, and grabbed the wand out of her hand. Just a little discipline and teaching, and she is now being such a good girl, waiting patiently for the right moment to go after those bubbles.

The wind was blowing hard, and bubbles flew everywhere. They both had a wonderful time. One day soon, I want to get some beautiful bubble photos like some of you have...but for today, the fun in these will do.

  10. I love these; the first one is my favorite. How do you do your focusing? I use a Canon 7D and set my focus to a particular zone and then just shoot away. That is how I captured the photo of the boys on the quad, and I was surprised that I got such good, clear shots of them even though they were flying by me really fast.

I call the flowers in the pot "Hens & Chicks" too. Unfortunately they're not in my yard, but fortunately for them they aren't because if they were, I just might kill them because I have a very brown thumb.
