Day 79 Self portrait

Does anyone else struggle with self portraits??? First of all, I don't want to be seen.....secondly, they are really hard to do. Finally, I gave up, and just had my husband take it. I found the most comlimentary light and selected all of the settings, and just let him go for it. He kept telling me not to show my teeth, (I have this space between my front teeth) In those, my eyes looked better, but I looked sad...so here you go ladies...the happy lady with the space in her teeth! LOL

  2. You are beautiful!! Such a great photo of yourself! I love the smile :) I am so inspired by this. I wish my mom could take photographs like you do so that I could get in more of the photos with my children and like them!! ;) At least I will be able to do that for my children ;)

  3. This is a wonderful picture Karren! You have wonderful eyes and a beautiful smile. It shows a really fun, natural side of you, and your family is going to really thank you for this. I've read that even though we take all these pictures of our kids, what they really want to see is pictures of us, so good for you for getting in front of the camera and showing us your other side. And, btw, your hubby did a great job!

  4. I love this picture! Seriously- you look fabulous, and really like others said- now, I'm inspired to get on the other side of the lens too! :) My dad has a similar gap- and honestly, I love the pictures where he smiles and shows it...:)

  8. Lauren Hutton wears that teeth gap proudly--you should, too! Wonderful self-portrait. Lighting is so soft; bokeh is great, too. Awesome job! The necklace looks terrific, too!

  10. I love this picure of you mom! It really does look so natural - like if I were to picture you smiling in my memory :) You shouldn't hide anything about you. I've always said that. I love your tooth gap, you wouldn't look like you without it.

  18. Awww... This is a nice shot. It's natural, not cheesy. It's wonderful to see your smiling face! I hate being in front of the camera too though. I would much rather stay comfortably behind it.
    P.S. The necklace looks great. : )
