Day 57 Learning to Sew

My daughter is learning to sew. She chose a simple topper over blinds for a first project. I have a new serger which she enjoyed using.

Here, she is doing the finishing touches with her sewing machine. This is just a small section of the little one over the sink. They turned out nice, and they make a huge difference in her kitchen.

  6. I wish I could sew but I don't have the patience. Your daughter is beautiful and I love that you're able to do this together. There is just something about a skill being passed down from one generation to another that is so special.

  7. They look awesome- I love the fabric choice!
Isn't the serger the greatest- my mom and I each have one so we can keep one threaded in black and one in white, so we never have to re-thread a machine.
