Day 7 The Braid-y bunch

My daughter is learning to French braid....This is her second try. Rory looked so cute, so I wanted to just get a shot of her braid, but then I loved her facial expressions as she was going through some of my Christmas decorations that are ready to take downstairs. She is sad that all the pretty things are being put away. She found some things to do a little decorating with. In the bottom left, she laid something on the back of the couch and it stayed there...in the last one, she had been trying to hang a window cling on the wall and it was not working. I caught this look as she turned around. I love my 85mm, although I rarely use in in my small house.

  1. She did great with the braiding! Delia's hair is so fine that it is near impossible. I hope it will thicken up soon. I love my 85 too. Great lens!

  3. Adorable... her hair is always fixed so perfectly! I really should try and do this with Kennedy's hair. Hmmm... might make a good blog post for me too! :)

  4. These are all adorable, but the bottom right shot is my absolute fave. Her eyes just look so amazing! The 85 is such a great lens for portraits.

  6. I have been teaching myself to french braid my daughter's hair as well! Once you get a good braid you have to document it! Great job.

  7. Awww, love the braids. She is a cutie. I love the look of french braids, but I don't have the patience to do it. I need to practice on my girls!
