Talk about a lucky shot, at the perfect time of day! I was so close to them it was freaky. If you see the tiny little things that look like little light specks all over, it was a bazillion bugs...I thnk mosquitoes! I may work with this one a bit more, but I think I will use it for the State Fair. If you left click twice to enlarge, you can see the bugs. I like the niddle moose's antlers. They are all velvety this time of year, and the backlight is outlining them. I have 6 other good shots of these giants...and some where they are all three backlit, but I liked the interraction between the two bulls here.

  1. Wow! This is an awesome shot Karren. Love that gorgeous backlighting. I can see how taking this one might be a little intimidating though. Those guys are HUGE. : )

  2. We were up in Albion Basin at the very top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. I went up with Danny's family for pictures in the wildflowers. These moose were eating the flowers!

  3. Beautiful. That IS a lucky shot! The lighting up there is amazing huh? I was dying at how beautiful it was up there the other night. This is prize for sure should enter it!
