Day 96 April 7, 2010

We woke up to a layer of sparkling hail stones all over everything this morning. When the sun came out, it looked so beautiful.......like glitter had been sprinkled all over it. I was trying, here, not too successfully, to capture the sparkle.

I love getting some great Bokeh, since I was already wet, a few minutes later, I came out for this next one....

I suppose I shouldn't be upset with my husband for not fixing the broken off rain gutter pipe. Several times it has come to my rescue lately for my photo of the day. Here is the melting hail from the roof, dripping onto the driveway. I had to lie on the saoking wet , freezing cold grass on my stomach at a really odd angle to get the sun hitting it at the right direction. One of these times, a passer-by will stop to rescue me, thinking I have fallen down and hurt myself!!! this one was taken at 1/500 of a second.
