These are my in-laws. Their children and spouses celebrated their birthdays tonight. Fritz is 98 years old today and Gerda turned 92 years old on March 8th. She is in excellent health, and he is in reasonably good health.
This the pot of Tulips that we gave to them. Up until just recently, Fritz maintained the most beautiful yard I have ever seen. He doesn't garden anymore, but we thought he would enjoy a pot of tulips to enjoy inside.
On the way home, we watched the sun setting over the Great Salt lake. I wish we had been out there with an unobstructed view. This is the best I could do after the sun was already out of sight. This photo was taken through the windshield, as we drove. The colors were like a fire in the sky, and the clouds were layers of red. I just wish I had been out by the lake instead of on the freeway.

ReplyDeleteThey are so cute- I only hope to have a marriage as wonderful as theirs one day. You can just tell they ADORE each other. What great examples they are to all of us.
