Day 121 Spring, will you please stay?

Spring flowers are everywhere now! I'm so happy about that, although they were buried under 6 ins of snow yesterday....it melted so fast, we could almost see it happening.

This little Robin, I photographed a week ago at the cemetery. I took Easter flowers to my parents graves, and when I was driving away, I spotted him, rolled down the window and got this with the PS. I love Robins. They used to nest along side nests of Blue Jays, in a big Blue Spruce in our front yard. The tree died three years ago, and we took it down. I miss the beautiful birds so much.

  1. I agree Karren! I want Spring to come and stay. We had snow flurries as well today. It's cold and windy. Yuk! Your photos are great for Spring, lets hope they bring us luck ;)

  4. We've finally started warming up! Yay! Love your flowers--and the bokeh!

We also have those same birds in our backyard all the time--thank you for labeling them as robins. You'd think I'd know these things at my age! LOL

  10. I like both of these photos...not only the photos themselves but also the significance they hold for you. They are very meaningful, and I have to wonder if that little bird wasn't one of your parents watching you from afar. I've seen a few birds lately and wonder if they might be a messenger of some sort.

Thank you for all your heartfelt comments. I always enjoy reading your thoughts, and you always seen to know just what to say to make me feel better or to give me the strength to get through whatever I'm feeling that day. That means more to me than you could ever imagine. With Mothers Day just around the corner, I know it's going to be another tough day, but I'm sure you'll have some good words of wisdom for me...I just wish I had more insight for you to help you with your journey as well.
