Day 67 It must be Spring!

Actually, this was taken yesterday on my way to Costco. It was one of those days yesterday...started out nice, then it rained for a couple of hours, then it turned to sleet, and by early evening we had this coming down, and it stayed most of the night putting down a foot here. They forecast 3-6 ins in Sandy, but anywhere in Salt Lake county, we can expect lake effect. I don't understand just how it works, but it does dump twice as much on us more often than not this winter. It is over now, the snow plows and snow blowers are hummimg, and by Thursday, we should hit 59 degrees. Unbelievable!

HaHa...New addition to this post!

It's only 12:30 and inches of the snow are already gone. Chunks of snow are floating down the street and our parking and sidewalk are flooded. I went out with the dogs, and was lucky to catch these little sparrows bathing in the water. If you left click twice, you can see how drenched they are. I ran in for the SLR, but they were already gone when I came back out. Notice the blue sky reflected in the water.

  6. I can't wait until we hit temps in the 50's! This year has been unseasonably cold with ridiculous amounts of snow. I'm actually looking forward to melting and puddles and mud. :)
